Cherry lime smoothie
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup pitted cherries, fresh or frozen
- 1/2 orange, peeled
- 1/4 cup raspberries, fresh or frozen
- 1/4 cup raw shredded red beets, peeled
- 1/3 red grapes
- 1/4 cup cherry juice
- 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
Optional additions and substitutions:
- maple syrup, to sweeten
- pinch of cinnamon and cloves
- low-fat, greek style cherry yogurt or non-dairy cherry yogurt
- 1/4 cup granola
- hemp seeds
- chia seeds
Instructions:
- combine all ingredients in blender
- blend until smooth
